So Far, So Good

Cool, Chill, Couple of days.  Friday my friend Celina (Lead singer of SA90) stopped by my place for a fitting/practice shoot for her upcoming bands photo shoot with Tracy (Tell-Tale HeartBreakers).

Friday was fun, now it's Saturday and I am drinking a Bloody Beer.  That is: Margarita Salt, Corona, Half a Lime, and Dr. Swami & Bone Daddy's Gourmet Bloody Mary Mix. Freakin Amazing! I like to Pimp Out my beer when the weather gets warmer.  Dinner is Served!

So today was the first photoshoot for Heart Of Gold. Pricilla (Model) and I started the fitting at 10am and met up with Traci (Photog and lead singer of The Tell-Tale Heartbreakers) at 12pm, and we shot till 2:30. It was so much fun! Also, my good friend Tara joined and made me laugh the whole time, she is just FuNNNY!

It's fun to do outdoor shoots. Our shoot included a Bronze Naked Lady Sculpture, Bridges, Graffiti ( there was actually two guys doing graf, right where we were shooting) and train tracks (uhum, a train really went by, it was awesome).

At the moment I dont have the finished pictures yet, but I took some with my Droid and did a little slideshow via Photobucket..Here's a sneak peek. Enjoy!

I've Got A Date With The Night

Mega thought has been put into what I would like to do as far as outdoor shoots. Between location, model and flavor. I understand that i can sell my clothes by taking pictures of them on a hanger. But what excites me is the creativity behind the whole project. A part of me will be bummed out if I dont sell a piece of clothing, but what matters most is the magic of everything collaborating and a final product. Im having a dam good time, picking thru thrift stores, yard sales, estate sales and combining outfits and hunting the streets for cool alleys, streets, bridges and train tracks to shoot pics. :) Im curious to see how all this turns out. Wish me luck, and buy VINTAGE!

Today I bought my domain name (yes!) and I started organizing some of my vintage, went to Target and got a Chrome Closet Organizer (it's huge). Can you believe less than half my stuff doesnt fit! Yikes! Not a problem. :) I hope to get a few pics taking NEXT friday to start selling asap. I want to sell and shop while Im taking the time to design the web site. Im very busy with my intership and the Dive Bar... So when my intership ends in June I will focus on some freelancing and building the wedsite. I"m debating on setting up an Etsy account. I might. I will set up a flickr account for Heart of Gold and a Facebook page. Otherwise I will be selling in the meanwhile through word of mouth and my blog. :) Wish me luck!
