Hello, I've missed you

I saw Mazzy Star
at The Fox Theater in
Oakland.
It was like a dream.
It felt so real, but
it was like it never happen.
Hope's voice was on point.
Her soft "Thank You"s gave me the chills.
Memories and time are so strange.
Sometimes I wish I could
hold them in the
palm
of
my hand.

Place I've never seen

Another year older.  Clock ticked to 36 years young, November 9th.  Isn't it lovely when you see your birthday in letter and number form? Its beautiful and dear to my heart.  This year I hope I wake up everyday and absorb my blessings.  I want to take not even a second for granted.  Ive said it a millions times, LIFE IS WHAT YOU CREATE IT. Each day is New.  These eyes only see the good.  Everything else can float on.  I'll create my own world, why not?  We are only here for a short time.  I'm free from proving anything to anyone.  I'm comfortable in my own skin. Why do some people see aging as taboo?  I never had this sense of freedom in my twenties.

This is pretty awesome!

I was 13 when I first heard Fade Into You on the radio.  With no influence or the internet, I was obsessed.  My 1st Real Band Crush.  I'm still in love.

Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions

My first music obsession without anybody's influence was Mazzy Star the summer of 1993. I collected every album, spent time at Rasputin listening to the any/all albums till I could afford to buy them.  Then it trickled over to Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions.  And guess what??? They are back with a new album, "She's in the Wall"
Here's the new video
