Woke up with this song in my head and I've caught myself singing it a few times today.. I just can't seem to get it outta my MIND!! I remember the day I found out that my crush George Michael was gay.... I was 9. I heard my mom and her friends talking about it. I later asked my cousin Rachel who was older than me, what was gay? and she said " Gay means he likes boys not girls and he's going to die because he has AIDS"... Being a child of the 80's was a bit confusing. Especially cause I loved Annie Lennox, Boy George, Prince and Michael Jackson.. I've cleared a lot of things up since then :)
